Written from the investment negotiating table, not from a research lab.

From FDI deals to books about AI.

Nearly thirty years of working with foreign investors gave Trần Tấn Sỹ a perspective few have: seeing first-hand how the rules of investment changed with each wave. Since 2020, as semiconductor and precision electronics groups looked for locations for new plants, he has been directly involved in many deals bringing these investors to Vietnam.

Then one number made him stop: a single data center project in the US was larger than Vietnam's entire annual FDI. From then on, the question was no longer whether Vietnam would join the AI game, but in what position. The books are his answer, written through the eyes of someone who has run businesses and sat at the negotiating table.
